My trip

This is a couple of pictures at a rest stop in Wyoming. Talk about wide open spaces. You can see the moon on the right hand side of the second picture and almost right in the middle of the picture to the left. We left Mom's house at about 6:30 or 7:00 and got to Ashly's at about 6 that night. Long time in the car. We did get to stop A LOT! Wendy needs to pee every time she sits down it seems like. I now know where every rest stop is between here and Ashly's house in Fort Collins! We were almost ready to buy some Depends for her so we could go farther than a couple of miles without her telling us she has to pee. Darn her! One picture I would have loved to have was of a mountain of butts. It looked like a bunch of people bent over and showing you their butts, but...... it was on the other side of the free way on the way there and we couldn't find the spot on the way back. I was going to have everyone stand in front of the mountain bending over to match and then print them out for all to see the butt mountains. The only other pictures I took are of Ashly and Alex and you will have to ask Wendy and Ashly for them, sorry. OK, maybe at a later date I will post some of my favorite ones. Colorado is beautiful! The mountains there are covered in green grass, not the brown stuff you see every where here. I also spotted one place that I would have loved to take pictures of. It was surrounded by big trees and in the middle of it was tall (ok, tall to me) grass that moved from side to side in the breeze. I would have liked to lay down in the grass and get pictures of that place from the level of the grass and the tops of the trees surrounding it from the ground. But, someone had placed a fence around it and I could not get to it. So it lives only in the pictures in my mind. Sorry. Friday we all got up and did some shopping at..... you'll never guess.... yard sales!!!! I bought a purse and some necklaces from a gay guy with a better pedi than mine! Both of the gentlemen were VERY sweet and told me that the purse matched my outfit (no lie!!!) and said that they loved my hair. I really don't think that Eric would have had a problem if they had asked to see my boobs. Why? He didn't have a problem with Wendy putting my bra on her head! (Yes, it is bigger than her head. She has a REALLY little head.) Maybe that is why she has to pee a lot! We drove there in one day but took two days to come home. We went as far as Salt Lake Monday and came home on Tuesday. Only after we got yelled at by some guy that wanted us to come over to him and yelled something else at us but I could not hear him because Wendy was yelling "Where's Totsy?! WHERE'S TOTSY?!" And Mom was screaming at us to keep walking. I would have really liked to hear what he had to say. He looked really important. Almost like the guy on the tram that asked what hotel we were staying at and already had his bags packed and with him. Another really important looking person. I am almost completely postive that Brigham Young would really like what people have done with the city that he spent so much time planning and starting. Wonderful. On the way home I had a hard time not taking the exit into Gooding, but I stopped myself in time. Only after Melissa yelled at me from the back seat. For some reason now, I can not bring myself to get back in that car. How far is it to walk to the family reunion Chavonne? Check that out for me and get back to me OK? Once at home, Eric informed me that Sunday is still a day for killing mice, they got another one on Sunday. This time in my bathroom! I guess it didn't mind the smell on CLR. I now get to clean more mice tracks from under my bathroom sink. Just what is it that mice eat that makes them poo so much? That stupid little rodent was even in the bathroom and didn't crap any where near the toilet!!!! But at least the top part of my shower is CLEAN!!!!!!!!!! YIPEEE!! Now I just have to clean the bottom part. Maybe tomorrow. I also could not take it anymore and I took the cupboard doors off in the kitchen. All six of them, yep, only six of them. For those of you who saw my kitchen in Gooding, you will know I am at home now in this kitchen. It is just that the kitchen in Gooding didn't have cupboard doors for a different reason that I will not get into at this time because I am tired and it is late. I only have one more box to unpack but I still do not know where to put the stuff that is in it. Eric on the other hand has more boxes to unpack. He has the same problem as me. And he has given the term garment bag a new meaning. He does not have any where to put his under things and so for now they are in a bag. Get it? "Garment bag?" ;) OK, I must go for now. I must rest so I have the strength to clean another day.
